The journey to “return to yourself” begins with forgetting about the notion that you are lost. The notion that you are lost is completely false. The truth is that whatever you want is within you, not without you. There is no relationship, no amount of money, and no worldly item required to become who you are. You are merely your true self. Understanding and accepting the simple fact that everything you need is inside you allows you to release others from responsibility for your happiness. Your husband, wife, girlfriend, boyfriend, friends, or children are not responsible for you feeling good, happy, and fulfilled; you are.
